South Korea Travel Guide

Palaces, K-culture, hiking trails and world-class barbecue.

0 guides0 itineraries0 stays

South Korea blends five-hundred-year-old palaces with hyper-modern cities, mountain hiking with late-night barbecue, and a pop-culture scene that has taken over the world. Seoul alone could fill a week; add Busan's beaches and Jeju's volcanic landscapes for a richer trip.

Best time to visit South Korea

Spring (April–May) for cherry blossoms and autumn (October–early November) for foliage are the sweet spots. Summers are hot and rainy; winters are cold but clear, with good skiing.
